Acclaimed artist Mason Gray began his professional career in illustration, achieving significant success with renowned clients in the UK and United States both in the advertising industry and film world.
Finding his creativity stifled by the working to order process and to satisfy his desire for exploration into elements of the subconscious he began his journey into contemporary, abstract art.

His lifelong passion for music and film inspires his deep reflection, and admiration for Rubens, Bosch and Dali  resonates throughout all his paintings. Blending abstract with realism he creates dreamlike, bizarre images that defy logic. 

Mason Gray invites us to confront the darker, surreal, dreamlike aspects of human nature and the timeless, moral struggle between light and dark, temptation and virtue.
